What happens to anything you send us
Short, because there genuinely isn't much of it. If your legal team needs something more formal — a data processing addendum, a sub-processor list, or transfer terms — ask and you'll have it.
The site itself
This is a static website. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no third-party tracker and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to warn you about. Your browser fetches typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request; if that matters to your organisation, say so and they will be self-hosted.
The ten-question health check runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you tick is transmitted anywhere, stored, or seen by Dino Sloth.
The contact form
The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this site. Submissions are delivered to Dino Sloth by email and held in Netlify's form store. What you send is retained for as long as it takes to reply and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterwards for tax and record-keeping.
There is no mailing list. Submitting the form subscribes you to nothing. There is no drip sequence, no newsletter you have to opt out of, and no automated follow-up. If you'd like to be told when something is published, use the RSS feed, which requires nothing from you at all.
Your details are never sold or used for unrelated marketing. They are shared only with the named specialists or service providers needed to respond or deliver the agreed engagement, under the applicable confidentiality terms.
Material you send during an engagement
Anything commercially sensitive should reach Dino Sloth under an NDA and through an agreed channel, not through this form. Once we're working together, the handling is set out in full on the how we work page: kept inside your environment where you prefer it, never placed into public AI tooling, and destroyed after delivery on the agreed schedule.
Your rights
Ask what Dino Sloth holds about you and you will be told. Ask for it to be deleted and it will be, subject only to anything legally required to be retained. There's no process to go through—just email me@roberttroughton.co.uk.
Changes
If this page changes materially, the change will be visible in the site's public revision history rather than announced. The current version is the one you're reading.
